Slacking again, I know

Trying to get everything organized and scheduled lately has been time consuming. But I had to show the most yummy kit that I will be posting in the Shop tomorrow.

Heidi Swapp Kit $35.95 for members $37.95 for non members

This stunning kit consists of:

12 double sided sheets of Heidi Swapp Dream Dining Room paper
6 sheets Bazzill Bling (2 each of Black Tie, Glass Slipper, Diamond Bling)
Heidi Swapp Damask stamp
Frost Glimmer Mist
Star Dust Stickles
3 pkgs KaiserCraft Rhinestone Bling (silver, black and pearl)

Also included in the kit are Spirelli Shapes and instructions
I am also in the middle of making plans for the big online crop December 5-7, there will be lots of games and prizes.

Also hoping to work with Melissa soon and get a ScrapCentral blog up and running, which of course means this one will get neglected.

Speaking of Melissa, if you are looking to get any printing done of photos, digital layouts, or looking for some great Christmas gift ideas, then check out her new site Green Pixel Printing
I just got some 8x8 digital layouts back from here and the print quality is incredible!

Sorry been MIA

A lot going on with ScrapCentral that I have been trying to get a handle on. Especially learning all the behind the front page workings, I am starting to a handle on most of it now.

We just announced the new Creative Team and I am quite excited about it. They have each been "assigned" a forum on the site to help keep us to date and to motivate us.

The ScrapCentral Shop is slowly becoming a reality in my basement. Mike was great in putting up a huge peg board for me to use for display and it is full! I just had 2 new orders arrive this week and another huge one on the way! Most of it is new items for the next 2 kits that will be released.

On the scrapping side, I have been doing nothing! Made a card for dh for his birthday and that's it, haven't even had time to do any digi work.

I do have to give a huge shout out to my friend Melissa over at Green Pixel Printing who just launched her new printing store. I have so far heard fabulous reviews and I am going to be sending some on my work off to her to be printed. Congrats Melissa I wish you the best of luck!

The girls are busy, busy! Marla has joined 4H again and is waiting to hear if she can get into the 2 project areas she wants. We also had a call from her Tae Kwon Do instructor to see if she will come back, she had to delay starting because of her surgery, so hopefully next week she will decide to go back. Tasha is having a blast at pre-school and is always coming home full of stories of what she did during the day. She has made some new friends and is amazing us everyday with what she is learning. Especially trying to write her name, she gets so proud of herself.

On that note I will leave you with a couple pictures I took of the girls recently.

My news...

I can finally tell you all my news. I am the very proud new owner of ScrapCentral! I think I am still in shock that this finally a reality! I can not say enough about Bobbi-Lynn letting me take over her "baby". ScrapCentral was her dream and she made it happen. It has developed into a wonderful place and has become such a wonderful "family". I know the fabulous members there are going take this change with ease, since they are such a supportive bunch of friends. I hope they will show me patience during the transition time.

No drastic changes will take place since I have worked so closely with Bobbi-Lynn over the last while in helping her with suggestions and ideas that she openly accepted and made them work.

I will be maintaining the store for now and see how it goes. Carla will be a terrific help to me with that part of the business.

So that's it! that's my news!

News Coming Soon

I have news to share, but not quite yet, soon, very soon.

Marla is back to school as of yesterday and glad to be back. She is feeling much better and had a pretty good recovery from her surgery.

Tasha, after 2 weeks at her new pre-school went from being in the Junior Pre-school room (3 and 4 years olds) to the Senior Pre-School room (4 and 5 years old). She won't even be 4 until Dec. 31. Apparently she was a little more advanced and they wanted to challenge her some more. And it is working, she is loving it, came home last night and was talking about "hexagons"!

I am working on a digital ABC album for Tasha and pages A and B done. I will post them later for you to see. It is actually quite fun to do for her.

So, stay tuned and probably by the end of the week I will have news to share with you all!

What's new

Well to start off, Marla had her tonsils out on Thursday (Sept 11) and everything went pretty good, a bit of a battle to get them out, apparently there was a lot of scar tissue damage done to them. She is slowly getting better. I am off all week to stay home with her and we will hope that she is well enough to go back to school next week.

Marla started off her new school year, grade 6 in her new school (a junior high 6-9) and loved the few days that she was there and her new teachers.

Tasha has started at a new daycare/pre-school and loves it. She can't wait to go back every day and was upset she couldn't go on the weekend. LOL! I am sure we will see a lot of changes in her over the next while.

Now, my big news, ScrapCentral has a new scrapbooking store open! Bobbi-Lynn has decided to follow her dream, and myself and Carla are partners in crime with her. We are going to be continuing our monthly kits, with extras in the store to compliment it. As well as some basic stock and new releases as we are able to get them. We just opened last week and are working close with our wholesalers to get product in, so obviously there are lots of orders happening. A lot of fun seeing what's available and trying to figure out what we would like to sell. Check out the store, if you become a ScrapCentral member you will receive an even better price then what we have in the store.

I have been doing a little scrapping on a new ABC workshop that BrokenJar Creations is releasing and it is going to be a lot of fun! I will upload what I have done so far in the next day or so.
